My flag football

So basically, i was forced to join a flag football team with my friends. And yea i thought it would have been alot of fun, many things had gone wrong... Even though i am not particulary a good flag football player, i was ok. All the kids on our team i graduated with and so i knew all of them. 3 boys and 3 girls. And to be honest with you, they were all a bunch of goof balls. Which actually made the whole experiance seen more fun.

The Sign up Day
Anyways after i said i would join, no one to me that i had to 'sign up' over the internet. So the deadline day for the 'sign up' came and our captian, an hour after the deadline, asked if everyone had signed up. Well of couse i hadn't. So i had to rush home from whatever i was doing, and i can't really remember what that was, and made sure i got signed up. So that was our first obstical. Eventaully i signed up that day, and everything was ok.

The extreamly lame argument
well as a team we obvousally wanted to be matching when we played. So, a day before we played our first game, i sat with on of my friend, also a teammate, and we decited to wear all red. Becuase of the fact our high school colors were red and white and we knew everyone would have red. So we ended up telling our caption that we wanted to wear all red. Well... he obvousally wanted to wear all black and thats what he started to tell people. So we said that was fine. Thinking that he had told everyone to wear black, we showed up and there was 3 people in black, one in all white and 2 in red and white. So basically, our plan had failed. Another failure of our team.

The Game Day
Abby (a friend of mine) and I, had class till 3:30 and our game was at 4:30. so after school we just waited around till it was time to go. Well we were told that everyone was going to meet at the welcome center because some of us didn't know where we were going. So it was about 4:15 and we were still waiting for a player, which turns out was at the feild already.. another failure of our team. So we got to the field and started to check in. Well no one told me that we needed to have a Western ID to play... and guess what, I didn't have one. SWEET! it turns out one of the other girls on our team didn't have one either. (we failed again) Miraculously thought, we had 2 other girls with us. So they ended up playing, and with all that. We lost the game...

All in all, It was a good time!

Hang in there, you will get the hang of it. Look at the bright side, when things seems at their worst they can only get better from there. Good luck with your season and have fun.

This sounds like an awesome risk youre taking. I have never experienced flag football, but it's cool that you stepped out of your comfort zone, and did something you wouldn't normally do. Good luck with the rest of your flag football career!
